Are you looking for an elegant dinner, with a date or for business? This is the place to go. The Musket Room, that acquired a Michelin star just 4 months after opening, is a must-go place in NoLiTa. Native New Zealander and chef Matt Lambert helms the ship, together with his wife Barbara Lambert and co-owner Jennifer Vitagliano. The menu is inspired by the New Zealand cuisine, with dishes such as brocolli soup, chicken and the egg and steak and cheese pie. Besides a great menu, made with seasonal ingredients, the restaurant has an incredibly attractive interior, filled with contemporary design elements, developed by Alexander Waterworth Interiors based in London. Neutral colors, wood and brick are combined with blue leather seats and sofas. Nice detail: looking out of the windows of their extra dining room, The Barrel Room, you have a view at the backyard garden where fresh herbs are grown for the kitchen. Tip: they’ve got a beautiful bar, a great place to start with a glass of wine or a cocktail.
